Ginza Dhanmondi

A pretty good restaurant serving Japanese fusion foods. Good place to spend time with closed ones, and with friends. Has got a great ambiance and a nice view of Abahani Field. It is quite spacious and so has adequate seating capacity. Their behaviour and service was top-notch. Extremely hospitable, welcoming, polite, humble and responsive. Coming to their food, their menu is a bit unique; in the sense that they have some Japanese fusion items along with items you often get to see at other pan-asian restaurants. Cream of Mushroom Soup: It was pretty decent. However, I felt like the amount of mushroom was a bit small. But the taste was okay, and is enough as a starter for two people. Corn Fried Rice: It was good as well. Had adequate amount of corn, making it rich in corn flavour. It was a bit spicy as well. I liked the combination, however, corn flavour in rice might not be liked by everyone. Jalapeño Chicken: I just loved it. It was perfect. The quantity, the seasoning, the flavour, everything was top notch. Note that, it is quite spicy. If you are okay with spicy foods, must try (in my opinion).

One of the best Pan Asian in Dhaka if not the best. Beautiful environment and their waiters are well behaved. They never give you bad service. Super nice behaviour and they try to make you feel special if you're celebrating anything there. The food is also supreme. Really tasty, well balanced and proportion is also large. Pricing is also not outrageous. Pretty affordable considering their food quality, taste and experience.

Tried their: Tuna fish sushi, Jalapeno Chicken & Special seafood fried rice. They served the foods fast. Amounts and tastes of the foods are really satisfying. The foods are affordable as well!

Despite going in at a rush hour I was seated within minutes and was served the menu right away. Their service is absolutely amazing and just on time. The place is very well put together, decorated with pieces of gold and ivory connecting it to pan asian heritage. The good was so scrumptious and even the whiff of it could make you salivate. Every dish was impeccable and down right delicious. This place hits the jackpot. Affordable,pretty and absolutely fingerlicking.

I recently visited Ginza and had a wonderful dining experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—especially the sushi platter, which was outstanding. What stood out most was their attentiveness — they were not only friendly and professional, but they also went out of their way to accommodate us and our children, no matter how many times we asked for something. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated, especially for families. Ambiance & Interior The ambiance at Ginza is absolutely stunning. It felt like we were transported to a fine-dining restaurant straight out of a Hollywood movie scene. The lighting was soft and ambient, creating a relaxed and luxurious feel without being too dim. The overall decor combines modern aesthetics with subtle Japanese influences, making the space feel both classy and cozy. There are several beautifully decorated corners inside that are perfect for taking pictures — it’s an Instagram-worthy spot for sure! The attention to detail in the interior design is remarkable, from the elegant seating arrangement to the textures and tones used in the decor. It’s a wonderful place for couples, families, or even a quiet solo meal. You can tell they put a lot of thought into creating a refined yet welcoming space. Starters – Bursting with Flavor We started our meal with: Lemongrass Chicken Shumai (Steamed) – These little dumplings were incredibly flavorful. The infusion of lemongrass added a fresh and slightly citrusy note that balanced the richness of the chicken beautifully. Each bite was juicy and aromatic, and you could tell they were made fresh. Chicken Gyoza – The gyoza were everything we hoped for. They had that perfect pan-fried crisp on one side, while the other side remained soft and tender. The chicken filling was savory and perfectly seasoned, and when dipped in the accompanying sauce, it elevated the flavor even more. Main Course – A Culinary Treat We were excited for the main course, and Ginza did not disappoint: Ginza Special Seafood Fried Rice – This dish was a standout. The seafood was fresh, and the rice was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. It had that "wok hei" smoky essence that good fried rice should have, and every bite was packed with flavor. Nagasaki Fried Rice – Another hit. Slightly different in flavor profile, it was hearty, well-portioned, and filled with umami-rich ingredients. A comforting, satisfying choice. Chicken Teriyaki – One of the best versions we've had in Dhaka! The chicken was juicy and cooked just right, coated in a glossy, sweet-savory teriyaki glaze that wasn’t overly sugary. It was served in a generous portion and paired well with plain rice or even on its own. Beef Gravy in Hot Pepper Sauce – This dish was bold and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The beef was tender and succulent, and the hot pepper gravy had a depth of flavor that kept us coming back for more. It was spicy but in a very enjoyable way — not overpowering, but enough to awaken the taste buds. Drinks – Refreshing & Thoughtfully Prepared We also tried several drinks, and they were all very refreshing. From fruity coolers to tangy blends, every drink was a nice complement to the meal. They weren’t overly sweet, which we appreciated. It’s clear that Ginza puts the same level of care into their beverages as they do with their food. --- Final Thoughts We left Ginza feeling full, satisfied, and genuinely happy with the entire experience. It’s rare to find a place where everything — the food, the service, the ambiance — aligns so perfectly. The quality of the ingredients, the thoughtful presentation, and the warm hospitality truly set Ginza apart from other restaurants in Dhaka.
